The necklace is in generally good condition. The two oval amethysts have a greater depth of colour and are a deeper purple, however they have an uneven saturation of colour with visible colour zoning they appear patchy. The hexagonal amethyst is slightly paler in colour with an even saturation of colour throughout the stone. The nacre to the freshwater pearls is uneven as expected and they have a slightly dull lustre. There are a couple of small chips to the facet edges of the amethyst only visible with magnification. There are some slight scratches to the settings and fine belcher link chain.
