Early George II silver Hanoverian pattern tablespoon, terminal initialled to the reverse.  Hallmarked IG London 1734.  Length measures 8 inches (20.5cm), weight 2.1 ozt (66.9 grams).

Overall the spoon displays general scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use, Minor dint to the centre of the bowl. Thinning to the tip edge of the bowl. The spoon has possibly previously been abrasively cleaned. Engraved initials read E.G. The hallmarks partly distorted but clearly legible.
