Lot Description

A silver cheroot holder, decorated with bright cut engraved stylised leaves, the detachable lid opening to reveal an inner holder with conforming decoration.  Hallmarked Birmingham, remaining marks obscured. Measures 5.5cm.

The holder is very tarnished and displays general wear commensurate with the age and use.  There are light surface marks and scratches.  The inner holder is in similar condition, although not as tarnished.  Hallmarks to both are very obscured and, in the most part, illegible.
