Lot Description

An early/mid 20th century card case, rectangular shaped with scroll and foliate engraving and a central vacant shield shape cartouche. Length 10cms, width 6.7cms. Weight 90.06gms. Tests as silver.

The case appears in good condition. There are general, scratches, marks and tarnishing visible and would benefit from a clean and polish. Scratches on points of contact to the inner lip from the lid. The hinge is in good working order, allows slight sideways movement, the lid and body are a flush fit and the lid remains tight when closed.
