A modern silver caster of tapered form, screw out detachable lid and raised above a circular stepped base. Hallmarked Walker & Hall Sheffield 1957, numbered 54125. Height measuring 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), weight 4.5 ozt (140 grams).

The caster displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The rim to the lid appears to have been refashioned. The hallmarks rubbed but legible. The lid marked with the makers town and standard mark.
