George III set of four silver open salts of rectangular form, initialled body, gadrooned rim and raised above four ball feet. Hallmarked London 1809, the maker possibly Peter & William Bateman. The height of each measuring 2 inches (5 cm). Gross combined weight 11.9 ozt (372 grams).

Condition Report
The set of four silver salts display general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The interiors have previously been gilded, this has now worn. Imprints of the ball feet are visible to the interior. There is a repair visible to one along the bottom edge and seam. The hallmarks are clear and legible, the makers marks are very rubbed.
