Lot Description

Two Continental spoons, a Danish example with fruiting vine decoration to the stem and openwork terminal, stamped with maker's mark COHR to the reverse, also stamped Sterling Denmark;  the other example possibly Norwegian and with a squirrel terminal to the plain stem and bowl, stamped to the reverse of the stem 830 alongside a crescent shape, also stamped S N M. Gross combined weight 4.27 ozt (132.8 grams).

Both spoons display general wear, tarnishing and surface marks and scratches.  Some very minor nicks in the metal, especially to rims.  The Danish example is particularly tarnished all over.  Marks to both are clear and legible.
