Lot Description

Early twentieth century silver cigarette case, the rectangular body with scroll engraving and central initialled cartouche. Hallmarked Joseph Gloster Ltd Birmingham 1915. Measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) by 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm), weight 2.3 ozt (73 grams).

Condition Report

The cigarette case displays some heavy wear and tear with scratches, marks and denting. Heavy discolouration to the interior which has previously been gilded. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
