Lot Description

A 1920's silver cigarette case of rectangular hinged form, the front inlaid with pink guilloché enamel, the reverse engine turned and opening to reveal a gilt interior. Hallmarked Stockwell & Co (George Stockwell) London import 1927. Measuring 8cm by 5cm, weight 82 grams.

The cigarette case appears in good condition displaying general scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. There are scratches to the surface of the enamel and a small minor chip to the very corner. The hinge and clasp are in good working order. The gilt interior displays some discolouration and wear. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
