A modern silver pear shaped caster raised on a spread foot, the detachable cover with alternate pierced panels and shaped finials. Hallmarked Birmingham 1972, a special mark used to commemorate the bi-centenary of the Birmingham assay office. Height measuring 5 3/4 inches (14.5 cm), weight 2.5 ozt (79 grams ).

Condition Report
The caster appears in good condition and displays general scratches marks and tarnishing. Small dent visible to the lid and the finial does not sit straight. The hallmarks to the body are clear and legible, standard mark and date letter visible to the body and id are lightly rubbed but legible.
