Lot Description

An 18k gold key wind open face pocket watch by W. Windle, the gold tone dial with hourly applied gilt Roman numerals, surrounded by raised foliate design and floral decoration to centre, the case having an engine turned design to rear, hallmarked London 1842, fitted with a signed full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 43mm. Total weight 60gms.

An 18k gold pocket watch, the key wind movement is currently functioning, the ornately decorated dial appears to be in a good condition, there are only some tiny marks noticeable under very close inspection, hands show some scuffs in various places, glass appears to be in a quite pleasant condition, it has only very small marks in few places, difficult to notice, case also seems to be in a quite good condition, but the case back is slightly scratched and shows some small dints in few places.
