Lot Description

Two late 19th century moonstone star brooches. Each designed as a circular-shape moonstone within a similarly-cut moonstone ray surround. Diameter 3.1cms.

Condition Report

In good overall condition with scratches and dents in keeping with general wear. The moonstones have a pale body colour with pale-medium blue hues. There are surface scratches to some of the moonstones. Parts of the settings are discoloured. Both have pendant fittings. There is glue to the reverse of one of the brooches. Weight 8.9gms.
