Lot Description

A Victorian 18ct gold turquoise and diamond ring. The graduated oval-shape turquoise cabochon with old European-cut diamond spacers to the scrolling gallery and plain band. One replaced with paste.Stamped 18ct.

Weight: No

The ring is in good overall condition with scratches and dents in keeping with general wear. The turquoise cabachons are a pale-medium bluish green colour with a banded or mottled appearance. There are minor surface scratches and imperfections to all stones. The diamonds appear bright and lively with scattered light and dark inclusions. One of the stones has been later replaced with paste. There are nicks to a few of the diamonds. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. The size of the stones prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment.
