A pair of late Victorian silver pierced dishes, each of oval outline, the openwork scroll and floral splayed foot to the fretwork body with embossed scroll and bow detail to the foliate scrolling shaped rim. Hallmarked William Comyns & Sons, London 1890. Length 6 3/8 inches (6.2cms). Weight 8.32 ozt (258.9 grams).

The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches, small dents and minor tarnish in keeping with general wear. The feet and edges have significant dents so that the dishes do not sit flat.
