Lot Description

Edwardian silver rose bowl of circular form embossed in high relief with floral motifs alternating with vacant cartouche, conforming embossed rim and raised above a circular footed base. Hallmarked Sheffield 1904 with the makers mark H.A. Height measuring 5 1/2 inches (14 cm), weight 14.2 ozt (442 grams).

The rose bowl displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A few minor dints and bumps, with a larger dent to the main bulbous part of the body. The overall circular shape has become distorted. No visible personal engravings. The hallmarks rubbed but legible. No grille present.
