A bronze and green onyx deskstand
Circa 1920-30, possibly retailed by Asprey
Modelled with a bronze figure of a standing tiger, 16cm, (6.25") long, raised upon an oval green onyx base with pen tray, 25cm, (10") wide, together with a pair of bronzed spelter figures of panthers (at fault), each on L-shaped green onyx support as bookends, 11cm, (4.25") high overall, (3)
A matching deskstand and a blotter, both marked Asprey, were sold by Ewbank Auctions, Surrey, 18th September 2008, lot 279.

Condition Report
Tiger book ends both have broken tails and lack original patinated finish. Tiger card stand has possible distortion to end of tail. The onyx dish has chips around edge with losses
