A good French brass and silvered four-glass mantel clock
Samuel Marti & Cie, Paris, circa 1900
Having a 3.5-inch dial with black Roman hours, red Arabic minutes, and moon hands, the recessed centre with visible Brocot escapement, the two-train movement half-hour striking on a bell, numbered 7617 and with exhibition stamp, the rounded oblong case with bevelled glazing, the shaped roof over silvered cast foliate mounts on fluted uprights, the apron centred by a similar cast ornament, 29.5cm, (11.56") high, sold with silvered pendulum plus winder
