A late 19th Century French black slate clock garniture
Samuel Marti, circa 1890
Having a 3-inch white-enamelled Arabic chapter ring with pierced gilt metal centre, the two-train movement, with exhibition stamp, half-hour striking on a coiled gong, the architectural case with cast finial to the domed surmount, over gilt columns and stepped base on toupie feet, 12.25", (31cm) high, on giltwood plinth, ebonised base and glass dome (at fault), with pendulum and winder, together with a matching pair of two-handled ovoid urns, also on gilt bases with ebonised circular bases and glass domes

Condition Report
Clock - very slight mark to chapter ring between six and seven. Slight nibbling to front edge of cornice. Faint dirt/water mottling to stepped base. Dome cracked
Urns - one dome offset, handles loose.
Slate is of good dark finish.
