Lot Description
An early 20th century sapphire and diamond three-stone ring. The rectangular-shape sapphire flanked by circular-cut diamonds to the single-cut diamond shoulders and plain half-band. Estimated total diamond weight 1.10cts, G-H colour, SI1-P1 clarity.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair to good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The band has been repaired/resized with a section added. The band has the remains to the inside of a personal inscription with is rubbed and illegible. The diamonds appear bright, one of the larger diamonds is estimated H-I colour, VS2-SI1 clarity with no obvious inclusions under 10x, the other principal diamond is estimated I-J colour, P1-P2 clarity with scattered dark inclusions. The sapphire is a deep purplish blue hue with moderate-strong tone and saturation. The sapphire has minor facet-edge abrasion.
