A late Victorian 15ct gold mourning ring. The shield-shape initial monogram to the interspaced woven hair panel band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1886. Personal engraving to inner band reads 'Richard Topham Verity died Dec 6th/86.

The lot is in overall good condition, there are slight scratches in keeping with general wear. The inner hallmarks is worn, the assay stamp and date letter legible, the inner engraving is clear. There is dirt to some of the woven hair panels. Ring size N. Weight 2.4gms.
