A late 19th century split pearl mourning brooch. The oval-shape woven hair panel within a split pearl surround. Personal inscription to reverse reads 'Emily Blaker died June 8th 1896'. Length 2.7cms.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair condition. There are scratches to the piece in keeping with overall wear. The split pearls are fairly well matched, there are blisters and blemishes to many, the settings may need to be secured. The hinge to the back has been replaced and a further section of metal has been added to the back, the panel does not cover any of the personal inscription. The back pin is metal and appears to have been replaced. There are some scratches to the central glass hair panel, the hair is in good condition. Weight 5.4gms.
