A Victorian hinged brooch, circa 1840. Of scroll and foliate design, the hinged slide to the scroll engraved surmount. Stamped Reg 200ct 1846 565 Dixons London. Length 4cms. Weight 6.1gms.

The brooch is in good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The central slide function is in good working order, there are some areas of discolouration to the detail. The back pin and catch is secure.
