Lot Description

A late 19th century mourning brooch. Of marquise outline, the initial monogrammed cartouche within a woven hair surround. Length 3.2cms.

In fair to good overall condition with scratches to the plastic case. The initials are slightly worn. There is glue visible to the edges of the cartouche. There is discolouration to the metal mount. We believe the piece to be gold plated. Total weight 5.6gms.
