Lot 665

Lot Description

A mid 19th century rosewood wheel barometer. Having a 10" silvered main dial reading from 28 to 31 inches of pressure, the trunk with swan neck pediment and brass finial above hygrometer, an ethanol thermometer, and spirit level marked 'Warranted Correct', 42.5", (108cm) high.

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

Appears to have been restored. Scrolled pediment to top in our opinion in new with new finial and faux ivory roundels. The dry damp dial and thermometer scale dial are either new or refinished. The veneered front of the case has some splits and minor losses
