Lot Description

A late 19th century French three piece clock garniture by A D Mougin, retailed by Clement Nimes, circa 1890. Having a 3" (7.75cm) cream enamelled convex Arabic dial with floral swags, inscribed 'Clement Nimes', the two-train outside count wheel striking movement with A D Mougin exhibition stamp and number 4610, the case with cast laurel surmount over drum head housing between branches on a spreading base with serpentine front and shaped feet.10.75" (27.5cm), together with a matching pair of two branch candlesticks of conforming design. 9" (23cm) high
