Lot Description

An Edwardian inlaid mahogany balloon form mantel clock. Anonymous, circa 1910, having a 4.25" (11cm) white enamelled convex dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, the two-train movement stamped GBE 942, striking on a coiled gong, the case bordered by ebony and boxwood chequer stringing framing a convex glazed brass bezel over bat's wing patera, on moulded plinth and brass ball feet. 10.5" (26.5cm) high
