Lot Description

A good mid 19th century mahogany single-fusee drop-dial wall clock by Edward Eustance of Clifton (Bristol). Having a 12" convex Roman dial with monn hands, inscribed "EDW'D. EUSTANCE, CLIFTON.", the gut-driven timepiece movement with anchor escapement and tapering plates, stamped 272, the case with spun bezel and moulded surround over carved 'ears' flanking gilt-edged glazed lenticle to a curved base with moulded door, 23.5", (60cm) high.
