Victorian silver christening mug of shaped octagonal form, each panel with floral scroll engraving, personally engraved ‘Wendy’ and raised above scroll and bead bracket feet. Hallmarked George John Richards London 1849. Height measuring 4 inches (10 cm), weight 4.19 ozt (130 grams).

The christening mug displays general scratches, marks and wear with heavy tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish. A few small minor dents visible. The hallmarks are lightly rubbed but clearly legible.
