A modern commemorative silver goblet of planished form with gilt interior and stem with open work scrolls and mythical masks, marked to the underside 'Number 23 of a limited Edition of 676 made by order of the The Lord Bishop of Hereford to commemorate the thirteenth centenary of the foundation of the diocese of 676 AD Aurum'. Hallmarked John Sutherland Hawes London 1976. Height measuring 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), weight 11.2 ozt (348 grams).
