Lot Description

A 1930’s silver tray of plain circular form and raised edge, with twin handles of shell and scroll design, standing on four conforming feet. Hallmarked Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd London 1934. Maximum width 20 ¾ Inches (52.7 cm), weight 75.5 ozt (2346.8 grams).

General scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing has been made to the tray with the larger scratches to the centre of the body due to heavy usage. Some dints and dippling are also noticeable but only at close inspection. There are remnants of old polish in the recesses of the two handles and the four feet. Hallmarks are large and visible, although slightly rubbed.
