Lot Description
A twentieth century four piece silver tea service of plain circular form, comprising of a teapot, coffee pot, cream jug and twin handled sugar basin, all standing on a stepped spreading circular footed base. Hallmarked Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd Sheffield 1977. Gross weight 49.3 ozt (1,533 grams).

Condition Report
In overall good condition with few scratches, marks and tarnishing. Each piece has a few dints due to use over the years, the teapot having a larger dent to the left hand side of the spout. The ebonised handles and finials are slightly faded. The hinges on both the teapot and hot water pot are stiff but open fully. Hallmarks are all visible and legible, extremely clear on the cream jug whereas others are a little rubbed . teapot, cream jug and sugar basin are all marked with Cooper Brothers branded stamp to the underside of the footed base, all of which are clear and legible.
