George III silver sugar bowl of large oval form, engraved borders, reeded rims, initial engraved wreath cartouche and dual handles. Hallmarked Thomas Wallis II London 1801. Height including handle measuring 4 ¾ inches (12 cm), weight 7.8 ozt (242 grams).

The sugar bowl displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A number of small dents visible. One cartouche appears vacant. The hallmarks positioned to the underside are clear and legible.
