The finial is leaning slightly to one side and the rim to the inner flange is slightly misshapen. The main body displays several minor nicks and small surface dints, especially one larger dint just below the girdle on one side. Small dint and a couple of noticeable nicks to the foot rim. Hallmarks to the underside are partly distorted due to some later over striking of further marks. Part hallmarks to the cover are legible and comprise standard mark and maker's mark.
