Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers at the front of our catalogue for coloured gemstones. The rubies are a purple red and a moderate, slightly purplish red hue. The oval-shape ruby has noticeable surface reaching fractures and reflective inclusions that create an uneven colouration. The pear-shape ruby is heavily included with obvious colour zoning and silk, the inclusions greatly affect the transmission of light through the gem. The rubies are in good condition with minor abrasions.
