Lot Description
A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch, the white enamel dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, round case hallmarked Chester 1898, milled band, engine turned decoration and vacant cartouche to the rear, fitted with a going barrel movement with a club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 58mm. Together with a silver curb link Albert chain. Total length 35cm.

Condition Report
A Victorian pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, balance spring is slightly coned, tiny marks on the dial, light discolouration at the centre, discolouration around the subsidiary seconds dial, would benefit from a clean, hands are marked and discoloured, minute hand is slightly bent, a few light scratches on the glass and tiny chips at the edge, case has medium scratches caused by general wear, small areas of discolouration, would benefit from a clean, tiny dints, small area of score marks at the edge of the case, probably caused when it was opened.
Albert chain has light scratches and shows signs of wear, key shows signs of wear with areas of discolouration and tiny dints, tiny dints and light scratches on the T-bar
