Lot Description

A Victorian 18ct gold key wind open face pocket watch, the gilt dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, round case with engine turned decoration and a cartouche with monogram to rear, London hallmark for 1853, fitted with an unsigned movement with cylinder escapement. Case diameter 43mm. Total weight 61gms.

18ct gold pocket watch, key wind movement is currently functioning, tiny marks and light scratching to the dial, erosion of the markers of the secondary dial, hands appear to be in good condition, the glass is lightly scratched, the case has medium scratches with some light rubbing to the decoration, the bow has been heavily worn to the middle.
