Two Japanese Meiji period ivory okimono (to restore). The first modelled as a peasant holding a fruit and a fan, 6", (15cm) high, the second with straw hat, 6.25", (16cm) high, each with one foot raised upon a rock, incised leaf mark beneath each, on a pair of rootwood bases (both figures af)

Condition Report
First figure should have a child perched upon his right shoulder - this figure has been detached at the ankles and is now missing. Old grey cracks to face, hem of cloak, back, and base.
Second has had his hat reattached. Item in his right hand depleted. Glue residue to both arms, hat and base. Old grey cracks to back and base.
The two loose items with this lot may be associated.
