A German porcelain figural candelabrum base. Modelled as a courting couple, he seated upon a branch handing her an apple, on a rococo-style gilt c-scroll base, underglaze blue hatch mark and impressed number 376 beneath, 12", (30.5cm) high.

Condition Report

Hole to top of tree stump where branches of candelabrum would have fitted in. Branch which male is seated upon may be depleted to tip. Typical losses to encrusted petals. One of the gilt supports to the rear has been crudely re-glued.
