A 19th century Meissen (Dresden) porcelain figure group representing "winter" modelled as a young couple seated upon a sledge holding an axe, she warming her hands over a fire, upon a naturalistic oval base with gilt acanthus frieze, under glazed blue AR monogram beneath 5"(13cm) x 6" (15cm).
