Lot Description

A pair of late Victorian silver salt and pepper pots, each of tapered form with circular foot on a squared base, with pierced domed lid and flame grip. Hallmarked Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd, Birmingham 1895. Height 3 5/8 inches (9.3cm). Weight 2.08 ozt (64.4grams).

The lot is in fair overall condition with small dents and scratches in keeping with general wear. There are more noticeable dents to the bodies. The hallmarks are worn. One of the bases is repaired with yellowish metal and moderate pitting visible.
