Lot Description
Early twentieth century large silver trophy of bulbous form, with twin handles and raised above a circular footed base, with presentation engravings to both sides. Hallmarked Carrington & Co., London 1910. Maximum height measures 11 inches (28 cm), weight 46.12 ozt(1434.5 grams).

Condition Report
The trophy is very tarnished all over and displays general wear and surface marks and scratches. The short stem below the main body has been pushed into the circular foot so that it is now slightly misshapen and squashed and the trophy now leans over to one side. This is also visible to the underside. Various other surface nicks and dints, to the main body and also to the main rim. Hallmarks slightly rubbed in places but still legible.
