Lot Description

An early twentieth century silver trophy on plinth, the hemispherical bowl with tapered circular foot on a wooden plinth, with presentation inscription dated 1919. Hallmarked London, 1913. Maximum height 9 1/8 inches (23.2 cm), weight of trophy 12.8 ozt (398 grams).

The lot is in fair to good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The inside of the bowl has heavier scratches with tarnish and discolouration. The foot of the trophy has a larger dent. Height of silver part of the trophy 6 7/8 inches (17.5cms). There is significant wear to the inscription and hallmarks. The makers mark is partially worn.
