Condition Report
Paperknife displays general wear, some tarnishing and general surface marks and scratches in keeping with the age and use. The blade was once engraved to one side but most of this decoration has now worn or rubbed away. There are various nicks to the edges of the blade, various pitted marks all over and a little bit more wear towards the tip. There are also holes in the metal at the join of the handle to the blade, on either side. The two marks to the reverse of the blade are very clear, there was possibly a third mark, which is now illegible.
