Lot Description
A Russian Imperial cup of tapered form with flared lip with stylised engraved panels of flowers and scenic buildings, hallmarked Moscow 1889 with the assay master A. Romanov (1886 - 1894), the quality mark of 84 and the maker's mark in ИЄЗ, height measuring 3 inches (7.5 cm). Together with two smaller Russian beakers of similar style, the first hallmarked Moscow 1853, the assay master's mark indistinct and the maker's mark И.Г, and the quality mark of 84, the second hallmarked Moscow 1857(?), the quality mark of 84, the remaining marks distorted. Gross combined weight 5.9 ozt (184 grams). (3).

Condition Report
All three Russian beakers display general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The first larger example displays a little more surface wear and dints and a personal script towards the base. As mentioned in the description some of the marks are distorted.
