Each spoon displays general wear, some tarnishing and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. Deeper scratches visible to the bowls and various nicks, especially to edges. There are also some small surface dints visible, especially to the bowls of the two smaller spoons. There is also more visible more wear towards the tip of each spoon bowl, as would be expected from general use. Some loss of detail to the decoration in places. Some distortion in places but hallmarks are mainly legible. The largest spoon has a crudely scratched date to the reverse of the terminal.
