Victorian petite cigarette case of curved oblong form with scroll engraving, vacant circular cartouche and sprung hinge opening to reveal a gilt interior. Hallmarked G W Harvey & Co Birmingham 1896. Height measuring 8 cm, weight 33 grams.

Overall the cigarette case displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use, the case does not close flush. General discolouration to the gilt interior. The hallmarks are clear and legible, the makers mark partly distorted.
