Lot Description
A George III silver snuff box of rectangular form, the base engraved with a woven panel, the hinged lid with scroll and floral decoration surrounding a flying mythical bird and vacant cartouche, hallmarked Samuel Pemberton Birmingham 1813, length measuring 6 cm. Together with a George V silver vesta case with engraved initials, hallmarked Henry Charles Freeman Birmingham 1912 and a modern silver pin cushion in the form of an elephant, hallmarked Derek Birch Birmingham 1977. Gross weight 2.7 ozt (83 grams).

Condition Report
All pieces have general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate to age and use. The snuff box appears in quite poor condition displaying a few dents, mostly to the edges and corners of the box, numerous repairs have been made with solder visible to the inside of the box and loss of definition on the bottom edge, previous engraving to the cartouche has been almost removed. The hallmarks to all pieces are visible and legible.
