A gold coloured, unmarked, vinaigrette of oblong shape, the hinged cover engraved with central monogram within a stippled wavy line inner border and an outer border of foliate motifs, conforming decoration to the underside, the cover opening to reveal a floral and foliate pierced grille (tests as 9ct gold). Measuring 3.5 cm by 2.5 cm, weight 18.5 grams.

Condition Report
Item displays general wear and surface marks and scratches. There are some deeper scratches in places. Main wear appears to be around the edges and corners, especially around the rim of the base as solder is visible. Hinges are in working order but are a little loose. Contact marks to flanges and green tarnishing marks to interior base. The inside of the lid has two struck marks, a letter R and what would appear to be a letter P.
