Lot Description
An early 20th century 9ct gold sapphire and split pearl dragonfly brooch. The circular-shape sapphire body and split pearl wings, to the plain bar. Length 6.5cms. Weight 5.3gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are scratches to the bar brooch in keeping with overall wear. The sapphire is a pale blue with a weak saturation of colour. There is a crack to the nacre of one split pearl, they are fairly well matched, they would benefit from a clean. The settings may need to be secured. There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the bar. The bar is stamped 9ct. The back pin and catch is secure.
