Lot Description

Edwardian silver pair of bonbon dishes, each with circular beaded rim and embossed to the interior with continuous swag motifs, raised above a spreading circular foot with conforming husk detail.  Hallmarked Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1908. Rim diameter measures 4 7/8 inches (12.5 cm), weight 6.93 ozt (215.4 grams).

Both dishes appear to be in fairly good condition, with general wear, light tarnishing and light surface marks and scratches.  Some deeper, more visible scratches to some areas.  One of the dishes has a knock to one side of the foot rim.  Hallmarks are slightly rubbed but still clear and legible.  Also impressed maker's mark to underside.
